The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.

Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to Chepstow, Salisbury and the Racing League action at Windsor for his three recommended bets/trades on Thursday, August 15th…

CHEPSTOW 3.55

The form of KALAMA SUNRISE without cheekpieces – form figures of 97023548 (0-8) – and with cheekpieces – form figures of 111122 (4-6) – looks like that of two different horses and the headgear has clearly had a remarkable effect on Jack Channon’s filly.

Three of those runs came at today’s venue, producing two wins and a short-head runner-up effort and though beaten by two and a half lengths at Haydock last time that was a fine effort as she sat too close to the strong early pace in apprentice handicap company, a race dominated by the closers. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back KALAMA SUNRISE in Chepstow 3.55

SALISBURY 4.40

ALHATTAN has found one too good on her last two starts, going down by a short head when 4-1 for a 1m2f fillies’ handicap here at Salisbury before a half-length reverse over 1m4f at Newmarket where she finished five lengths clear of the third after failing to settle.

This daughter of Lope De Vega is now 0-3 since handicapping but the hood goes on today and George Boughey is 11 from 38 (29%) when using this headgear for the first time for a profit of £11.67 to a £1 level stake at SP.

The new equipment should help her to settle better, and she can track likely leader ALLONSY before pouncing late under Jim Crowley. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back ALHATTAN in Salisbury 4.40

WINDSOR 5.30

ZENZIC came late to record a 10-1 success at Yarmouth on his handicap debut earlier this month, but may have been flattered as the pace collapsed and the first three were ridden patiently.

Handicap debut winners on the Flat are usually worth opposing when bidding to follow up in another Flat handicap, with Gracious Leader’s short-priced defeat at Kempton last night taking the score to 247 winners from 1305 bets (18.9%) for a loss of £424.05 to a £1 level stake at SP (-32.5% on turnover). Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose ZENZIC in Windsor 5.30
