Two months on from the French Open, all eyes are back on Paris as Roland Garros hosts the tennis events at the Olympic Games.
Iga Swiatek and Carlos Alcaraz were victorious earlier this summer and they are the favourites to win gold for Poland and Spain respectively, with Alcaraz also well-fancied for a deep run in the men’s doubles as his forms a heavyweight partnership with 14-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal.
Andy Murray has confirmed he will retire from the sport after Paris 2024, and the Briton will be desperately hoping for a memorable farewell, having already twice been crowned Olympic champion.
Katie Boulter, Jack Draper and Heather Watson are among the other British athletes involved, while Novak Djokovic makes another bid, and almost certainly a final one, for Olympic gold.
