The 2024 Promuscle Italy Pro contest has been circled on the IFBB Pro League calendar for weeks. This show, which took place in Milan, Italy, on September 8, was headlined by top talent in the Men’s Open division but also featured competitors from Men’s Physique and Bikini.
Ahead of this show, fans turned their attention to surging Men’s Open star Hunter Labrada, who specifically chose this event months ago as he aimed to earn his qualification for the 2024 Mr. Olympia’s 60th anniversary. He has corrected his gut health through dieting and attacked training with a chip on his shoulder to ensure he’d leave the country on top. But since he had to travel overseas for this event, some were under the impression that he’d have a tough time prevailing, especially against the complete physique of Andrea Presti.
All roads lead to the 2024 Mr. Olympia. The marquee show returns to Las Vegas, Nevada from October 10-13. Ultimately, Hunter Labrada claimed the crown in the Men’s Open with a career-best look. Alessandro Cavagnola controlled the stage en route to securing gold in Men’s Physique while Anna Setlak picked up a statement win in the Bikini category. Find out how close the show was below:
