Football Fun Factory has been celebrating reaching another milestone.
The Cambridge-based company, which was founded by James Cutting in 2017, recently picked up prizes at the Disruptive Franchise Awards and Best Franchise Awards, as well as ranking 70th in the Elite Franchise Top 100 for 2024.
And now the organisation has just launched its 100th franchise across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
Football Fun Factory started its franchising journey in 2019 when co-founder Jonny Martin joined the company, with the first pilot being launched in south Cambridgeshire.
Cutting said: “Five years ago Jonny and I sat down to write a business plan designed to franchise the Football Fun Factory across the UK and Ireland and launch 100 franchises.
“It’s incredible that the team have delivered on this goal, almost to the day, as we celebrate reaching 100 franchises.
“This achievement has been a huge collective effort from the directors and head office staff, through to our wonderful franchisees and their coaching teams.
“The next steps for the FFF are continue to grow domestically and deliver on our next five-year plan to grow internationally too. We’ve also got a few exciting partnerships up our sleeve too.”
Former Cambridge United midfielder Luke Chadwick, who is a director of the company, added: “This is just the start of our journey with huge ambitions of growing the team much further.
“We have plans to continue to grow across the United Kingdom and Ireland over the next 12 months as we endeavour to put football on the doorstep of as many children and families as possible to allow them to enjoy our truly unique experiences.”
