Over the last several years, we have seen Love Is Blind become one of the stables of the reality TV universe. The series has moved abroad, diving into Japan, Germany, Argentina, and its latest entry in the United Kingdom. I am a massive fan of Love is Blind UK because it brought back the elements of the show we loved, which is people looking for love, not fame. With six couples engaged, we share which will get married, which couples will fall apart, and which ones are too close to call.
Which Love Is Blind UK couples will make it?
Steven and Sabrina
Let me start by saying that I will quit watching this show if these two don’t get married (I won’t). But really, I haven’t loved a couple like Steven and Sabrina since Love Is Blind Season 5’s Brett and Tiffany. They gel well together, everything seems to fit perfectly, and every obstacle in front of them has been met with level-headed conversations. The only hiccup could be living ten years apart, but the pair seems to have that on lockdown.
Benaiah and Nicole
This situation has played out eerily similar to that of Zach, Irina, and Bliss from Season 5. Nicole kicked Sam to the curb, Benaiah came to the rescue, and the two had been off to the races. The meeting of the parents went well, especially after Benaiah’s mom and sister grilled Nicole for picking Sam over him. That said, Benaiah’s obsession with Sam and Nicole’s worry that she might hold Benaiah back could be a problem on the wedding day. My thinking is that, just like Zach and Bliss, their relationship doesn’t make sense, but it works, which is why they will say I do.
Which Love Is Blind UK couples are doomed to fail?
Freddie and Catherine
Talk about being in a pickle because these two could’ve easily landed in any of these three questions. One moment, I feel like they will say I do, and the next, I wonder why they are even together. After this most recent batch, Freddie’s concern is that he might not be good enough for Catherine because he feels like she is a bit of “high maintenance.” This rubbed Catherine completely wrong, but at the end of the episodes, she seemed ready to walk down and say I do. I believe they walk the aisle, but Freddie says no at the altar.
Jasmine and Bobby
I feel bad for putting these two in this category, especially after watching Jasmine’s mom break down into tears watching Jasmine walk out with the wedding dress on. Do you know when you watch Love is Blind, it feels like something is missing? That’s what it feels like when you are watching these two together. They seem smitten by one another, but something tells me Jasmine says no at the altar.
Which Love Is Blind UK couples are too close to call?
Tom and Maria
Will the financial expectations from Maria cause Tom to say no? Will the blended cultural backgrounds lead Maria to say no? This couple is very hot and cold. When Tom met Maria’s family, I thought for sure they were running away to the altar. However, Maria has raised a certain way with the expectations the man provides, and Tom isn’t afraid. But he does expect the two to share things down the middle financially. Money is a big thing in a relationship, and it has caused many break ups, and that’s why, for me, the jury is still out on whether or not these two say I do.
Ollie and Demi
I still don’t think Ollie is ready to walk that aisle and say yes. I’ve felt that since day one, and even more so now. Every time he is in a room with a woman he is smitten by, his head turns. Demi almost seems in a trance when it comes to Ollie, and how he has treated her in the moments that matter most showed me a side that didn’t think this would work. I, without a doubt, think Demi says yes, but Ollie 100% says no.
Love Is Blind UK Episodes 1-9 are available to stream now on Netflix.
