There was rarely a lull in the boxing calendar in 2023, with several big fights taking place in what turned out to be a banner year for the sport. Undisputed and unified title fights dominated the schedule, while some long-awaited superfights finally came to fruition.
And if everything goes according to plan, the 2024 lineup could be even better.
The first few months of 2024 already saw the first undisputed heavyweight champion be crowned since 1999 when Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury. The end of the year will see a rematch between the two. Who will hold all the gold by the time 2024 comes to a close?
Also expected to compete: Canelo Alvarez, Terence Crawford, and Katie Taylor. Who will win the rematch between Taylor and Amanda Serrano?
As fights are announced/confirmed, The Sporting News will keep you regularly updated on all of the latest major matchups. Here is the most recent 2024 boxing schedule.
