Capco appoints Paul Riseborough as UK managing partner

Global management and technology consultancy Capco has named ex-banker Paul Riseborough as the new Managing Partner of its UK business.

Appointed per the start of this month, Paul Riseborough brings 20 years of broad financial services industry expertise to the role. He steps up from his role as partner in Capco’s Banking and Payments practice.

Riseborough has been with Capco in its London office for just over a year, working with clients in the UK and internationally to deliver their (digital) transformation programs.

Founded in 1998 in Belgium, but now headquartered in the United Kingdom, Capco is a management and technology consultancy specialised in driving transformation in the financial services industry. The firm works for banks, insurers, regulators, fintech’s, payment institutions, and others players in the industry.

Capco has over 7,000 staff across 35+ offices worldwide, with the UK its largest base.

As part of the appointment, Riseborough will also become a member of Capco’s global Senior Leadership Team, which is led by Anne-Marie Rowland.

Prior to entering the consulting scene, Riseborough was Managing Director and Head of Everyday Banking at Nationwide Building Society, managing a cross-functional team focused on delivering banking products, services and experiences to their customers and leading a variety of transformation and efficiency programmes.

Prior to that role, he was Chief Commercial Officer and a member of the Executive Committee at Metro Bank. He also worked at Lloyds Banking Group and HBOS.
