DAZN will show British basketball games for FREE after securing an exclusive TV deal.
The streaming giants have acquired the rights just days before the new season begins.
With the first game of the new campaign on Friday, league chiefs were still on the lookout for a broadcaster.
But DAZN have now struck a deal and will show matches to fans across the UK and worldwide for free.
They have created a “dedicated on-platform environment”, which will show live matches and have on-demand content from the revamped Super League Basketball.
The new-look SLB replaces the old British Basketball League after the previous operating company fell into financial trouble due to 777 Partners, who wanted to buy Everton, failing to make payments.
It led to their license being terminated and a new competition under a different name has now been formed.
DAZN’s deal has been described as a “pivotal moment” for British basketball.
The London-based streaming platform’s CEO Shay Segev said: “We want to use our reach and industry-leading technology to bring the competition to existing and new audiences, fostering a truly fan-centric global community.
“Super League Basketball is at a turning point in its history and is a property with exceptional potential for commercial growth – we are delighted to add it to our growing international portfolio of basketball.

“DAZN is rapidly becoming the global Home of Basketball and SLB will form an important part of this.”
SLB chief Vaughn Millette added: “From our earliest conversations, we’ve been impressed by DAZN’s unwavering passion to promote and grow the sport of basketball.
“Over the last few years, DAZN has demonstrated its commitment to growing the sport by securing numerous international basketball rights.
“SLB’s addition to this line-up, means that fans will find a broadcast home for basketball on DAZN.
“Super League fans will be able to watch every game live and free to air as we take our place alongside the likes of France and Italy’s elite national basketball leagues.”
