Horse Racing: Glorious Goodwood Day 1 Odds & Picks – The Latest Sports Betting News

One of the biggest flat meetings of the season in the United Kingdom get underway on Tuesday, as Glorious Goodwood is staged. There will be three graded races on the card on the opening day, and you can find the latest odds and picks here.

The Goodwood Cup is the feature on the opening day at Glorious Goodwood. This race will be run over a distance of two miles, and a number of re-appearing runners from the Ascot Gold Cup will feature.

Kyprios was a stunning winner of the feature at Royal Ascot last month, and the odds show that he is preferred to continue his winning sequence for the team of Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien. He is clear on ratings, and should be near impossible to beat if at his best.

Gregory could be the improving horse in the field, and he is preferred to complete the exacta. The four-year-old was slightly disappointing at Royal Ascot in the Gold Cup, but he shaped as if two miles would suit when third in the G2 Yorkshire Cup.

Vintage Stakes Offshore Odds & Picks

New Player Bonus

50% up to $1000

Horse Odds
Aomori City +250
Cool Hoof Luke +400
Tiger Mask +500
An Outlaw’s Grace +700
Arabian Sun +750
Electrolyte +850

The feature on the opening day for horses aged two comes in the form of the G2 Vintage Stakes. A wide-open contest is expected, with a field of seven runners competing over seven furlongs.

Aomori City represents the Godolphin team this week, and positives would have been taken from his third in the G2 July Stakes on just his second career effort. He is bred to be suited by this distance, but he could want even further over time.

Cool Hoof Luke will be the ride of in-form jockey Oisin Murphy, and a chance could be taken on the two-year-old to kick on following his fourth in the G2 Coventry Stakes. Distance is a slight unknown, but his running style will suit Goodwood.
