Here’s everything you need to know about Indian Wells, including the draw, who’s playing and the schedule. You can watch all the drama unfold live on Sky Sports.
Live coverage the BNP Paribas Open continues on Sunday from 5.30pm UK time, with Iga Swiatek taking on Maria Sakkari before Carlos Alcaraz meets Daniil Medvedev on women’s and men’s finals day – live on Sky Sports Tennis.
The women’s and men’s singles titles will be decided by the end of the day’s play.
Finals day in California
Sakkari fought off a Coco Gauff fightback to book a place in the final of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells against top seed Swiatek.
Swiatek has enjoyed a serene path to the final, in which she has lost just 20 games. She is also a perfect 69-0 after taking the opening set in WTA 1000 events and 12-1 in matches this year.
Sakkari came into the tournament with a new coach in David Witt and has proceeded to rack up as many wins as she had all season coming in having won five matches in a row since her title run in Guadalajara.
Defending champion Alcaraz ended Jannik Sinner’s winning streak to reach the men’s singles final, where he will face last year’s beaten finalist Daniil Medvedev following his semi-final victory over Tommy Paul.
Where is Indian Wells?
Having played host to the tournament every year since its opening in 1974, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden is located near Palm Springs, California, in the Coachella Valley.
Alongside its 16,100-capacity centre court – the second largest tennis-specific stadium in the world – the complex also boasts 29 hard-courts.
