Joint Training of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom – Sarajevo Times

Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom will carry out joint activities and training at the military locations Rajlovac-Sarajevo, Dubrave-Tuzla, “Mika Bosnić”-Manjača and “Božan Šimović”-Capljina, in the period from October 20 to December 1 this year.

This year’s joint activity will include advanced urban operations training and leadership development, along with training for international peace support operations. At the same time, the military units of both countries will undergo training in atomic-biological-chemical defense. Joint training will allow military professionals from both countries to share experiences and work alongside each other, developing interoperability and operational compatibilities.

This training is an extension of the long-standing cooperation that exists between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom in the field of building defense capabilities, through which members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina acquire new knowledge, skills and abilities through joint work.

Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom will again this year have the opportunity to use the improved training facilities at the Combat Training Center in Manjaca and the training facility in urban areas at the Dubrave-Tuzli location, the development of which was supported by the Government of the United Kingdom.

By using such facilities during training, members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina improve their ability to make a greater contribution to international peace support operations around the world, announced the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
