NBA legend LeBron James has long dominated the world of basketball, but now he’s being introduced to the world of board games.
In celebration of Monopoly Day, Nike and Hasbro have teamed up to create an exclusive Monopoly board game honoring 39-year-old James and the pivotal moments throughout his career.
The board game is part of a greater collaboration between James and Monopoly. The two also joined forces to create his Nike LeBron 22 “Currency” and “Token” shoe colorways. The entire launch is set to drop on Nov. 19.

LeBron James Monopoly set, explained
James and Nike go way back. The Lakers star signed a contract with the iconic shoe brand when he first joined the NBA in 2003 and has released a new addition to his signature shoe line every year since. He signed a lifetime contract with the company in 2015.
Nike and Hasbro’s LBJ-themed Monopoly set includes themed game pieces like branded King James rings, sneakers, basketballs and jerseys. The board itself highlights iconic milestones and moments throughout James’ life, and “Bron Bucks” are used as the game’s currency.
The board game will be presented to James at House Three Thirty in Akron, Ohio, his hometown.
