The latest Man Utd injury update has indicated that Erik ten Hag could be missing up to 10 players for the visit of Brentford on Saturday.
Ten Hag has overseen the Red Devils worst ever start to a Premier League campaign. So far, the Dutchman has collected just eight points from the opening seven fixtures.
It appears that the former Ajax gaffer is on very thin ice after a series of damaging results in 2024/25. However, he did buy himself some time as Utd earned a credible draw at Aston Villa before the international break.
Earlier this week, INEOS terminated Sir Alex Ferguson’s contract for his role as the club’s global ambassador. The move came as part of a cost-cutting measure and a bad result against the Bees will have Ten Hag seriously worried.
It’s 50/50 whether the 54-year-old would suffer the same fate as Ferguson. With the club languishing in 14th position, Ten Hag must start producing positive results sooner rather than later.

Man Utd Injury Update Doesn’t Bode Well For Erik ten Hag
The most recent Man Utd injury update has only worsened over the international break. England star Kobbie Mainoo is set to be ruled out for four weeks which will come as a huge blow to the Red Devils.
Alejandro Garnacho will need to be assessed. The Argentinian was unable to feature for his country during October’s fixtures and is currently nursing a knee complaint.
Another South American star who came off worse over the last fortnight is Manuel Ugarte. The midfielder limped off during Uruguay’s goalless draw with Ecuador earlier this week.
Amad Diallo is rated 50/50 for the Brentford clash. The winger withdrew from the Ivory Coast squad owing to illness. At the time of writing, it isn’t thought to be too serious.
Summer signing Noussair Mazraoui will miss out owing to a minor heart procedure. The Moroccan international is expected to return next month.
Defenders Leny Yory, Harry Maguire and Tyrell Malacia will definitely miss the visit of Thomas Frank’s side. Left-back Luke Shaw will once again be absent. A return next month is likely with Mason Mount rated 50/50.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash at Old Trafford, the best football betting sites in the UK make the Red Devils the 7/10 match favourites. The draw is available at 10/3 with Brentford 18/5.
