How to watch UFC 307 in the U.K.

  • Live stream: TNT Sports (£3.99/month or £39.99/year via discovery+)

UFC 306 is available in the U.K. via TNT Sports. The prelims, starting at 1 a.m. BST, will air on UFC Fight Pass.

The legendary Jose Aldo returns to action, facing Mario Bautista. Aldo (32-8) is a former UFC featherweight champion and current UFC Hall of Famer. The Brazilian is 2-1 in his last three fights, beating Jonathan Martinez in May after initially retiring.

Bautista (14-2) last fought in January and has six wins via submission. Ranked eleventh at bantamweight, he believes beating Aldo will propel him higher up the rankings.

“Big name, big challenge, and a win over someone like Jose in this division – it shoots you up the rankings, and you become known to a lot of people after a fight like that,” Bautista told MMA Junkie. “That’s what I was excited about… I’m getting ready for the best version of Aldo there is. Like WEC Aldo. That’s the kind of Aldo I’m getting ready for. I think I’ve just got to overshoot it and just be ready for whatever Aldo shows up that night.”

Meanwhile, Stephen Thompson (17-7-1) is 1-3 in his last four fights. “Wonderboy” last fought for welterweight gold in 2016, and the kickboxing champion ranks ninth in the welterweight rankings. He faces eleventh-ranked Joaquin Buckley (19-6), on a four-fight win streak. The 30-year-old has 13 wins via knockout.

UFC 307 preview

Pereira (11-2) has been the UFC’s MVP, competing in multiple fights whenever called and knocking out almost everyone in his path. He took out former champions Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka (2x) this year to retain light heavyweight gold.

The eighth-ranked Rountree (13-5, 1 NC) is on a five-fight win streak. He beat Anthony Smith in his last fight in December but has been out of action since after testing positive for a banned substance.

The co-main event will be Raquel Pennington defending the UFC bantamweight title against Julianna Pena. Pennington (16-8) is on a six-fight win streak and has faced some of the best to put on a pair of gloves. The first woman to win The Ultimate Fighter, Pena (11-5) shockingly beat Amanda Nunes to win the UFC bantamweight title in 2021 but lost it in a rematch in 2022.

Both have history dating back to The Ultimate Fighter in 2013. They never faced off, and after years of running her mouth, Pennington is ready to shut her up.

“I’m extremely excited for it. Julianna is just one of those girls that, she’s going to have her own version of everything,” Pennington said via Cageside Press. “I don’t believe in bullying, I’m an ambassador against bullying. And when I went into The Ultimate Fighter, it’s a show that really takes you out of your comfort zone.”

“She was on my team, so it felt okay to make a friendship. So I tried to just befriend her and do whatever, and I quickly learned that we have different personalities. She definitely got under my skin. So that’s why for me it’s just one of those fights that’s super-exciting, it’s been a long time coming. At the end of the day we’re all human beings, but I’m looking forward to punching her in the face.”
