VSO has analysed a variety of metrics to compile a list of the 10 best seaside destinations in the UK to make planning your next holiday much easier.

The study researched factors including the number of restaurants, the number of things to do, Airbnb pricing per week, beach review scores, and average summer temperatures.

10. Skegness

Last on the list is Skegness, a seaside town and civil parish located in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. Situated on the North Sea coast, it is one of the more popular seaside resorts in the UK, with its sandy beach and the beloved Natureland Seal Sanctuary, which rehabilitates injured seals and other marine animals.

7. Poole

Poole is a seaport in Dorset, England, located on the south coast, with a history dating back over 2,000 years, with evidence of Iron Age and Roman settlements.
