Westminster Bridge has been closed this morning after a stabbing, which left a man fighting for his life.
Police were called around 10.45am today after a fight reportedly broke out on the central London bridge.
The man who was stabbed is in critical condition, according to the London Ambulance Service.
London’s Air Ambulance attended to the scene and took the man to hospital.
Metropolitan Police said: ‘Three people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and one person has been arrested on suspicion of affray. Two of them been taken to hospital for minor facial injuries.
‘A road closure is in place, enquiries continue.’
Detours are in place for multiple bus routes in the area as well, near Victoria Embankment and Lambeth Palace Road.
Routes 11, 12, 148, 159, and 453 are all on diversion.
